Tim and I have been planning this baptism for months. We finished our basement. Lots of yard work. Painting kitchen and family room (and a few other spruce up projects in these rooms). Lots of family home evenings on baptism. Shopping for white dresses and suits. New scriptures and scripture cases. Cooking and cleaning.
All of the work for one big day! AND what a wonderful day it was. Almost everyone we invited attended the service and party afterward (despite lost keys and road closures). The spirit was very strong. The kids were very well behaved. It couldn't have been more perfect!
Annie was baptized first. When she was done, she waited on the side (wrapped up in a towel) and watched Abby. Then both girls watched Carter.
Thank you family and friends for supporting us. We spent the rest of the week playing with cousins (all that fun will be in another post).
