June 2016

The senior primary filled up a scripture chart for reading their scriptures every day.  As a reward, we took a walk to the temple and learned the story of the stone cutter.

The girls went to cupcake camp again at Cravings Bakery.

A family hike to Timp Cave.

"Life Skills" Sunday - learning how to do our hair.

Enjoying homemade strawberry-cream popsicles.

I had a follow-up visit with my surgeon and they took an X-ray.  I was very surprised to see a screw and plate in my knee.

The big girls had been bugging me to let them go to the mall by themselves.  As a compromise, I let them go to their stores, while Georgia and I went to our stores.  They took lots of selfies during those 30 minutes and sent them to me.

All the kids went to Camp Floyd History camp.  This is our last year.

Amy Lock and I went to see the Lower Lights in concert at Snowbird.  Super fun night!

I've been doing lots of physical therapy.

Annie, Abby, and Georgia went to Camp Jeremiah Johnson with all the Activity Day girls.  This was Annie and Abby's last year.

Abby getting ready for family pictures.  Our kids were given strict instructions about duck lips and bunny ears during the session.

Can you believe these three are triplets?

Tim and Carter heading off to the 50 mile hike in the Unitas with the scouts.

The girls and I on a walk around the temple.  Some of us like it more than others.

Carter standing a bit taller after the 50 mile hike.  I received so many compliments from the leaders on what a great helper and hiker he was during the week.  Atta boy, Carter!

The girls playing at the pond with cousins.

Carter at BYU Basketball camp.  His team won the championships and he was voted to be an all-star player.

May 2016

The finished kitchen product!  I really love my white cabinets.  And I love that the mess is gone!

Georgia had to write a book at school.  She got to read it to all the parents!

Mother's Day 2016

My first day at the gym.  Oh...I have a long way to go!

The garden in is!

End of year dance festival! (Annie was too cool to take a picture)

Georgia asked me if she didn't eat sugar for 30 days, would I pay her $15.  Heck yes!  I bet dad would match the $15 as well.  Grandma Jenny, Grandma and Grandpa Barlow did too.  She wanted chocolate chip cookie dough truffles for her first sugar treat.

Annie and Georgia at their dance recital!

Georgia at the 2nd grade bike rodeo!

6th grade graduation.  Peace out elementary school!

6th grade BBQ

We went to Lagoon with the Rasbands!  Georgia and Emme!

More life skills Sunday - making banana bread!

April 2016

The kids and I took a trip to St George for spring break.  Tim had to work, so he joined us later in the week.  I listened to the audiobook "The Magical Art of Tyding Up".  It was a very good listen!

Zion's National Park - outside the Emerald Pools

The Narrows

At the entrance to the Narrows

Snow Canyon lava tubes with cousins

Georgia and Avery getting ready to go into the lava tubes.

Angel's Landing

We had the chance to see our very dear friends the Macdonalds in St George.  We are always able to pick up when where we left off.  Friends for life!

My beautiful tulips!

April 12 - ACL reconstruction.  The surgery was only 45 minutes and out-patient.  I'm tired of surgeries.

Georgia read to me while I was in bed.

Our cousin was in a play and we went to watch!

Starting to bend my knee.

We had our knotty alder kitchen cabinets painted white.  Our kitchen was torn up, so we went out to breakfast.

Nova Graduation.

Georgia's kindergarten teacher got married.
