June 2018

School is out and the summer schedule is in full swing.  Carter had an airsoft war on a Monday night.  COA vs the Templar.  Carter was on the Templars.  

While Carter was fighting off airsoft bullets, Tim, myself and all the girls had a picnic at the Heritage Park.  We ate dinner and played Uno.  It was a fun FHE and no one complained.

Georgia had to practice her multiplication facts.  She was super thrilled to be starting her summer off doing school work.

Camp Jeremiah Johnson!  This is my 6th year going to the camp.

Carter's hair has grown out and is getting very curly.

We discovered that the Watergarden movie theater has tickets for $5.00 (you also get a popcorn and a drink).  We went to the movies every Tuesday during summer break!

We got a postcard in the mail from Bobbi!  She was in Paris.

Strawberry Days Rodeo!  We all enjoy the rodeo events and the strawberries and cream!  The Gardner quadruplets sat in front of us, so it was double entertainment!

We also went to the Lindon Pool almost every week during the summer with the Sykes.  The kids loved jumping on the lily pads.

I ran the American Fork Half Marathon for the Roy Bodtcher Team.   I made signs to put along the course for Roy and had all the primary kids sign them.

Chuck and Lanna Palmer were in town visiting.  We went up to Provo Canyon for a picnic.  It had been a few years since we saw them and it was wonderful to catch up!

May 2018

I got to have lunch with Melissa and Kelli (my 100 miler pacers) to rehash the race!

The washing machine broke so I had to go to the laundromat.

Melissa ran the Salt Flats 100 and I went out to cheer her on (and wear my crazy wig).

Annie learned how to mow the lawn.  We are an equal opportunity lawn mowing family.  Everyone enjoys the new lawn mower!

The vegetable garden got planted.  The vegetables are so small and contained!

Better is a bagger at Maceys.  I've seen her every week for the past 13 years.  She always asks me how I am, how my kids and what races I have coming up.  She is in her mid-80's and retiring.  I'm going to miss seeing my friend every week.

April 2018

We got 5 tickets to the afternoon session of General Conference.  Georgia wasn't sad she had to spend the afternoon at Karlsvens.

Vienna and Aria Crane came over to play during an afternoon.

We tried a new cookie recipe.  They were jumbo size!

Steve Rogers (aka the 20 year old lawn mover) still fired up after a long winter's rest!

Desi Lindon was the first American woman to win the Boston Marathon.  It was the coldest, rainiest reported for the marathon.

We had a Beehive activity at our house doing Days for Girls!  Lots of work got done.

We had a Primary Royalty activity.  The primary kids learned how to be royal like their Heavenly Father.  We even had a royal lunch.

It always makes me SO happy when my tulips bloom.  Spring is coming!

Carter started mowing a neighbor's lawn.  Steve Rogers has a hard time starting for me.  I bought a new lawn mower at Costco.  It sure is pretty and starts right up!

Annie started her soccer season.  She plays right wing defense!
