The girls played on the beach of Bear Lake. Brrrr......
Tim, Carter, and Georgia went skiing at Snowbird on June 3. The snow was horrible, but at least they got to ski in June.
The young men and young woman got to sing during sacrament. They are practicing in this picture.
We went on a Sunday stroll to see the Oriental Poppies in Lambert Park in Alpine.
More trips to the snow cone shack.
Abby found some awesome pants at DownEast!
Georgia and I went to Camp Jeremiah Johnson.
We took Kenny and Ashleigh's kids to see the movie Sing at the Scera.
A trip to Ikea to buy a bookshelf for upstairs.
My first attempt at putting together a piece of Ikea furniture.
Annie and Georgia at the week long cupcake camp at Cravings in Pleasant Grove.
The girls and I went to the opening night of the Strawberry Days Rodeo (the boys were at scout camp). It was the kids night, so there was mutton busting, cash cow, fireworks and a motorcycle show. The motorcycles did jumps and flips. It was very entertaining.
I think the girls were surprised at how much they enjoyed the rodeo. Between the actual rodeo events, the rodeo princesses, the loud music and the strawberries and cream, everyone had a great time.
My girls babysat Stacey Crane's girls Aria and Vienna. We had a picnic lunch.
Abby made some stuffed monsters for a YW's personal progress project. We brought them up to Primary Children's hospital.
We spent a day at the Provo Beach Resort. Ropes course is always a favorite.
More cleaning projects. We went through the kids' memory boxes and made sure everyone's stuff was in the right box. It was fun to look through all the old pictures.
Kaylee and Lyla had a sleep over. It was Kaylee's birthday and we left her a money trail. $30 in one-dollar bills!
We went to the Manilla Pond to swim and play in the sand.
I ran the American Fork Half Marathon in behalf of Jane Follett (she is our primary president and has breast cancer). It was a really neat experience to run for someone and something bigger than yourself. And I ran my fastest time on that course!
Puzzles
We made lots of homemade popsicles.
Each summer the kids have to learn a life skill. One year they had to learn how to make their make their bed. This summer, they had to learn how to do their own laundry. It has been amazing to have them do their own laundry!
We made our annual trip to the Young Living Lavender Farms in Mona, Utah. We had a picnic lunch and took a ride on the pond boats.
On the way home from Young Living Farms, we stopped at the Big Red Barn for ice cream.
