Tim has always dreamed of taking his son skiing. It has been on his "top 5" list. We were offered a "friends and family" pass for a ski lesson at Snowbird and jumped at the chance.
Carter spent the day with his ski teacher, wearing a worm on the tip of his skis, eating hot dogs and french fries, and
telling his instructor endless stories about Star Wars. He did learn how to snow plow and get on and off the chair lift.
Tim skied in the 24 inches of new powder and secretly followed Carter around (luckily he wasn't caught by Carter until the end and they ended up skiing the bunny hill together).
It was so exciting to hear about Carter's experience and that he wasn't a wimp (he has been known to throw a fit about soccer games and swimming lessons).
The girls, myself, and Grandma Jenny spent the afternoon going out to lunch, dying Easter eggs, coloring, painting posters, and other fancy and frilly girl things. I love good days.
Glad you have a more "user friendly" blog, I sure have had fun with ours and I love keeping up with friends and family near and far! Keep the fun stories comin', we love hearing them!
